Our Northern Kentucky Dental Team Makes Every Visit Positive
Every member of our friendly and energetic team works hard to create a positive experience for you every time you visit our practice. Get to know some of them better below.

Amanda S. Dental Assistant/Receptionist
Amanda joined our team in 2017 after becoming a dental assistant. She is certified in radiology through the University of Kentucky and in coronal polishing through the University of Louisville. Amanda’s favorite aspects of her job are the dentistry itself, meeting new people, and learning something new every day from Dr. Theiss and our staff. She loves working with Dr. Theiss and our team because we care about our patients and practice gentle dentistry.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Josh, and their three beautiful children, especially swimming, visiting Kings Island, and vacationing.

Cherise C. Dental Assistant
Cherise has been at our office since 2010, a year after she started her career in the dental field. She became certified as a dental assistant from Ross Medical Education Center and has additional certifications in OSHA/HIPAA and coronal polishing through the University of Kentucky. What Cherise enjoys most about her job is talking and interacting with our patients. She has had a wonderful time getting to know our entire patient family over the years, and she enjoys making them as comfortable as possible. She is also grateful for how much she has learned from Dr. Theiss, a great teacher and someone who truly cares about our patients.
Outside of work, Cherise enjoys hanging out with her wonderful husband, Nathan, and their two beautiful girls. They like taking walks, camping, going to parks, and traveling. You might also find Cherise running in her spare time.

Chris W. Dental Hygienist
Chris began her career in the dental field in 1987 and joined us 14 years later. She received her dental hygienist degree from the University of Kentucky and is certified in radiology and expanded duties. Chris enjoys meeting new people, educating them on how to achieve good oral health, and changing their lives for the better.
When she’s not helping our patients at work, she likes to hike, ride her bike, sew, and spend time with her family.

Lindsay L. Dental Assistant
Lindsay joined our team in 2015. She is certified as a dental assistant from the Institute of Dental Technology and has a certification in CPR as well. Her favorite part of working here is seeing people’s smiles transformed and the boost of confidence that immediately follows.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two wonderful boys. She also likes gardening and going on vacations.

Sarah T. Dental Hygienist
Sarah began working here in 2008 and earned her registered dental hygienist degree from Shawnee State University four years later. She is certified in CPR. Sarah enjoys meeting our patients and building friendships with them. She finds it fulfilling to work with so many people every day and know that she is helping improve their lives. She also loves that Dr. Theiss is a strong, caring leader who makes working here stress-free and comfortable.
In her free time, you will probably find Sarah out on her farm – her miniature horses keep her very busy! She also enjoys fishing and playing video games and board games with her family.

Susan M. Office Manager
Susan has worked in dentistry since 1983, the same year she started working at Northern Kentucky Dental Care. In fact, Susan has been here since day one! She is certified in radiology through the University of Kentucky, CDT Dental Coding & Reimbursement, CareCredit, and OSHA/HIPAA. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with our patients, many of whom have been coming here for years. She has been able to watch children grow into young adults and bring in their own children. She also appreciates that Dr. Theiss is a confident and caring person who takes pride in his practice, which shows in our patients’ smiles.
When she’s not at work, Susan enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart of 34 years, Jack. Together they enjoy working out at the gym, going to many baseball games, and golfing. They are blessed with two children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and four beautiful grandchildren. Vacationing with them is priceless!
