The reason I came the first time is because it's local. I mean, I live like just a couple of minutes from here. My wife had heard good things about Dr. Theiss. And also, I had a coupon.
But I guess one of the things that impressed me greatly about Dr. Theiss is the very first time I came here, he referred me to a periodontist who he thought could help me better than he could. I saw that as being very professional. You know, an example of putting the patient's interests ahead of his own. And that impressed me greatly.
I've had three teeth extracted on separate occasions, and I didn't feel any pain at all during the procedure. I didn't have to take any pain pills when I got home. So, he numbs you up very well, and he really knows what he's doing.
Also, my wife had seven teeth extracted at one time, and she didn't feel any pain during the procedure. In fact, she felt like the procedure was over before she knew it.
He's very nice and easy to talk with. He explains my situation very well and answers my questions so I can make an informed decision. I believe that my health, my medical and dental health, is my responsibility, and that doctors are just consultants that I use; and he and I converse very well together. He's very good and works with me very well from that perspective.

It had been several years since I went to the dentist, and I was experiencing pain, and I knew that I had let things go too long. I have a weak enamel, and I'm very susceptible to cavities, but I also don't numb very well. I knew that it would require a lot of numbing, a lot of drilling, and in my past experience, they never did that in a way that wasn't painful. I would tell them, and they wouldn't really listen. They thought they knew better.
Then I decided, I just ... I have to get my teeth fixed or it's going to be even worse, so I just asked for recommendations, and people recommended this place, and I gave it a chance. Dr. Theiss and his staff took my X-rays, took my pictures, and they assured me that they could help me, and not in a way that was impossible feeling. I thought my teeth would be impossible to fix, and they thought otherwise. The constant reassurance that they would take care of me was nice, and that goes a long way with me.

I love everybody in this office. Dr. Theiss is so easygoing, kind of salt-of-the-earth kind of guy. In fact, I think he lives on a farm, so that makes sense.
I love the office staff. Always asking me, “Are you okay? Is everything okay?” “Yes.” So it's just a very, very friendly ... I don't dread coming here.
He's just really calm, and I have a lot of dental anxiety. In fact, I never went to the dentist on a regular basis until I came here. I only went to the dentist when I had pain, but now I go every six months, and he's showing me that just regular dental care will avoid a lot of problems.
Dr. Theiss explains everything he's going to do, and he shows me pictures on the X-ray. He shows me everything he's going to do and why he needs to do it. And he just kind of helps me through everything. And I just like his calm demeanor.

That was not as involved as you might put on a child to move some things around, but it was an adult procedure that would take a maximum of six months, and I think I got it finished in maybe five. It was put on here in the office very quickly, painless, came back once a month for a routine check on it, and they would make an adjustment as necessary.
When it was done, things looked really good, and it moved with a minimum of pain and discomfort. Wasn't particularly ridiculously costly, but it was worth it. I'm glad I had it done.
They mentioned it to me, and it wasn't a surprise because it's something that I had thought about, but never broached with them in any way. And he thought I might be a good candidate for the Six Month Smile, and took him up on it, and I'm glad I did.
Everybody's been very ... they noticed it, and they said it looked much better, and I can feel it myself. I didn't do it for anyone else in particular. I did it for myself. It improved my appearance, and it made things easier to floss and to brush and to get into places that otherwise might cause a problem in the future.

Dr. Theiss is a very confident and caring dentist. He exudes confidence; you always get the idea that he knows what he's doing. He will take the time to explain anything that you have a question to. He doesn't overtalk while he's working on you; he concentrates very well on what he's doing. You never get a panicked feeling, like he's run into a problem he can't handle, and he's got many years of experience, and it shows.
They are just nice, caring people. It comes down from Dr. Theiss all the way to the office, and that's the reason I come back. They do excellent work.
I would encourage them to visit Northern Kentucky Dental Care because it's an office that is a caring office. They have all the latest procedures, they keep up on the techniques, and dentistry has evolved since I was a child immensely. They keep excellent records of what's going on, and they will know what needs to be done in preventative medicine. Very confident professionals, and they know what they're doing.
The dental hygienist that usually cleans my teeth is extremely gentle and very, very thorough. You come out of here knowing that things have been done first-class.

They improved my smile dramatically. Long story short, I was going to another dental facility prior to this. Was very unsatisfied with it. So a friend of mine, a mutual friend, recommended Dr. Theiss. I came here. He explained the treatments that he would be doing for me, and it worked out very well. I'm actually still undergoing some things, but we got a great program going, and I'm much more confident about my smile now and having workable teeth.
Well, in my case, it was a bit dramatic. I'd lost several teeth, even front teeth, and with his ability to deal with implants, we embarked on that program and even with some temporary teeth. So I wasn't afraid to smile. The temporaries that he will make for you look as good as the real thing. Down the road, when the implants heal and you get your new teeth, it's fantastic. It's really good. I'd had implants prior to here, but one thing that makes this unique is that Dr. Theiss continues his education. It's one-stop shopping here. Dr. Theiss can do it all.
